Showroom Manager

Our client has a fantastic opportunity for a Showroom Manager to join their company based on the outskirts of York.
This is a permanent Full-time position working 35 hours per week, 5 days out of 7. The hours are Monday to Saturday 9am- 5pm and Sunday 10am-4pm. Weekend working is - One full weekend (sat and Sunday), One full weekend off (Sat and Sun) and alternate weekends for remaining of the month one sat and one Sunday.
Duties:
To deliver the agreed KPI's for their store and hub including Average Order Value, Customer Conversion rate and the Volume of Orders per team member.
Ensure that cash and payment systems are well controlled and in accordance with company procedures and policies.
Provide store performance information and reports as required by the Area Manager.
Provide on-going Coaching and Mentoring support to Comfort Specialists and act as a key point of contact for the Area Manager.
Organise and support the ongoing training of the store team in product knowledge to develop a high performing team of experts.
Deliver and monitor the effective implementation of training and Induction programmes for new team members.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a manager ideally within the retail industry
Excellent customer service skills
The ability to establish strong, professional relationships
Able to communicate well with team members and can adapt communication style and methods for individual needs
