Design Assistant
Linzi is a retail brand established over 30 years ago. We are dedicated to providing high-quality products and exceptional customer service to our customers worldwide. As we continue to grow and expand, we are seeking a Design Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Researching market trends and consumer preferences to inform design decisions.
- Create detailed design sketches and technical drawings using Adobe software to summit to our factories.
- Assist in the development of sample shoes, from initial concept to final production.
- Manage all shoe samples, ensuring manufacturers reach set deadlines.
- Communicate with factories to coordinate sample production and provide clear comments to ensure all changes are understood and actioned by the factories.
- Keeping all administrative files up to date, to ensure everything is documented.
- Maintain organised design files and sample libraries for easy reference.
- Support Buying team with all necessary administrative tasks to ensure critical path deadlines are achieved.
- To carry out any Ad-hoc duties required by the buying team.

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced buying office.
- Email management and
organisation, communication to factories abroad on a daily basis.
- Team player who collaborates and communicates effectively at all levels.
- A willingness to learn and improve and have a ‘hands on’ approach.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experienced in Microsoft Excel.
- Good numeracy skills.
Education & Experience
- Certificate or Diploma in Fashion or Design.
- University degree or equivalent.

Working Days & Hours
- 40 hours per week.
- Monday – Friday 8:00am-4:00pm.
- Office based in Harold Hill (Easily accessible via train)
