Shift Supervisor

Jonathan Lee Recruitment is looking for a Shift Supervisor for a successful Tier 1 Automotive company, and the role comes with an attractive salary of over £48K and benefits package.

The company is a fast moving supplier of car components utilising specialist process equipment, robot transfer and assembly equipment as well as CNC machining

Supervising £30 – 35 people on shift, as Shift Supervisor you will carryout the following.

Supervising 30 - 35 people ensuring effect man management to ensure SOP’s and internal procedures are followed at all times
Ensure all production processes conform to current quality standards
Manufacture quality parts in time to satisfy customer demand
Guarantee a safe working environment
Improve production processes and lead improvement teams
Lead root cause analysis of non-conforming production and implement corrective actions
To fulfil the Shift Supervisor role your expertise and experience should include:

Tier 1 Automotive highly advantageous
General manufacturing experience is required
Production Supervisor or Production  Manager level experience essential
Experience working in automated factories with understanding of CNC machining and robot transfer cells is highly advantageous
Experience in Lean Manufacturing and 5S is essential
HNC or general mechanical engineering understanding is desirable
In current or previous roles you may have worked as Shift Manager, Cell Leader, Production Manager, Production Supervisor
