The firm seeks a seasoned Production Manager, with a rich background in high-risk chilled food production, to oversee the transformation of raw materials into premium finished products. A familiarity with lean manufacturing principles such as 5S, Kaizen, and Kanban will serve as a strong foundation for success in this role.
The chosen candidate will be entrusted with the comprehensive management of the production team and equipment, reporting directly to the Site Manager. This includes the direct oversight of four individuals and the indirect leadership of 60 to 100 team members. The role encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities, from nurturing team dynamics and monitoring production KPIs to handling disciplinary procedures and driving continuous improvement.
The Production Manager will be instrumental in upholding the company's vision and standards, ensuring each team member understands their contribution to the overarching goals.
