We are looking for someone who has worked in a plastics environment such as injection moulding or packaging.The Role-
* Utilise their leadership skills to manage a team of operators and will delegate their day to day tasks.
* Implement quality control measures to ensure that products meet customer requirements.
* A handover will take place at the beginning and the end of each shift to understand what has happened and what is needed during the next shift.
* Check production samples to ensure the quality and conformance.
* Be proactive with problem solving to sure that issues are resolved effectively.
* Work to minimize downtime and maximize output, ensuring the effective running of production.
* This manager will need to be able to communicate effectively at all levels including on the shop floor and in management meetings, with customers and suppliers where needed.
* Monitor KPIs including waste, materials, production, and quality.The Person-
* We are looking for someone who has leadership experience and has managed a teams day to day tasks.
* Must be able to work nights and day shifts.
* You must have worked in a plastic manufacturing environment such as injection moulding or packaging and have some understanding of processes.
* We are looking for a leader with a personable approach, engaging and friendly.
* Understanding of QC processes and checking conformity of the product against customer specifications.
