JOB TITLE:Shift MaintenanceTechnician
DEPARTMENT:Facilities
REPORTING TO:Estates and Facilities Operations Manager
JOB FUNCTION:To carry out maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment both reactive or planned to high standards
DIRECT REPORTS:. Nil
LOCATION:Primarily Cobham Training Ground but may be required to work at other Chelsea FC sites
CONTRACT:Permanent (Shift 4 on;4 off, 10 hour days)
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (Play Your Part):
To comply with company procedures & policies, working within in the Facilities team focusing on:
Delivering a safe and compliant environment for players, staff and members of the public
Daily use of mobile CAFM system to capture working time and completion of field notes
Ensuring that the electrical and mechanical services/equipment are in an optimum working order through the PPM scheduled tasks
To perform repairs or replacements of electrical, mechanical or public health systems and equipment primarily at Cobham Training Ground
Carryout general fabric tasks as required by management
Operational support for the wider Chelsea FC team and guests
Daily use and control of the building management system (BMS)
Attend meetings and training as required
Ensure that all works is complaint with accepted engineering standards and with H&S guidelines
Ensuring that all company H&S procedures are followed
Completing logbooks and necessary documentation as required
Carryout pool testing as required
Other tasks as required as part of the operational delivery requirements

To ensure that all repairs and installations are completed to manufactures specifications or industry standards
All tasks completed within agreed target times
Good levels of communications both written and verbal
Positive feedback from team members and customers (Internal or external)
Good attendance and punctuality
Respect of work environment, keeping areas clean and tidy
Carry out instructions as required by members of the Facilities Management team, Helpdesk team, Safety teams
PERSONAL SPECIFICATION:
Good written & verbal English
Neat & tidy appearance
Work as part of a team
Proactive approach to work
Work independently when required
Qualifications:
Essential
Basic H & S awareness
C&G or equivalent Electrical or Mechanical qualifications
Building service experience
Desirable
Installation, testing, Fault diagnostics
COSHH training
Experience in completing PPM tasks as per British Standards
Risk Assessment & Method Statement knowledge
Manual handling training
Understanding of water hygiene requirements incl. pool testing
MEWP & Access Tower
Experience:
Essential
Working within a maintenance team environment
Positive communicator
Working in a public facing role
Good understanding of BMS & how to interpret and fault find the readings
Able to work to tight deadlines and timeframes
Worked on HVAC systems and other plant
Desirable
Worked within a stadium or large sports arena and hotel industry
Worked with pumps, motors, AHU’s etc.

The Employee must act to protect all young people and vulnerable adults that are in their care or attending the Company's premises. The Employee must report any misconduct or suspected misconduct to the Safeguarding Lead.
