Shift Leader

The Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington is looking for the Shift Leaderto supervise the smoothrunning of the reception during the shift ensuring that the required standards of guest care are maintained.
Shift Leader key responsibilities:
Serve as a departmental role model or mentor by working alongside employees to perform technical or functional job duties.
As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will oversee the front office activities between the Guest, the hotel, and the various hotel departments
A Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for supervising the activities that create the first impressions of our guest
Supervise Front Desk operations during your assigned shift to a consistently high standard
Ensure your shift team have an current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and special promotional offers, as well as daily VIP and special events
Advise your shift team of any special events or VIP Guests in the hotel that day
Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of Team Members with an emphasis on training and team work
Maximize sales revenues through up-selling and marketing program
Manage Guest requests, inquiries, and complaints promptly and completely
Maintain the professional appearance of the Front Desk with a focus on hospitality and Guest service
As a Master of your Craft you will
Absolute commitment to deliver high levels of customer service
Able to demonstrate a flexible and proactive approach to work
Passionate about hospitality and have experience in a similar role, with a good understanding of the Front of House operations, Microsoft Office and Opera Cloud(preferred)
With previous experience as a Front Office Supervisor, Reception Supervisor, or Receptionist in a 4 star hotel
Play a hands-on role leading by example and taking opportunities to motivate, train and inspire the front office team members
