Shift Leader - Catering - Full or Part time

As a Service Leader in our on site Kitchens you will be responsible for leading shifts to ensure the team is delivering the best service to our customers and ensuring brand standards are always in place. In this hands-on customer facing role, you’ll be competent to manage a high-volume environment with an positive, can do approach, you will be passionate about our offer and champion our producers and you will ensure through your knowledgeable colleagues that our customers receive the unique and delightful experience that we are known for.
Responsibilities include:-
Leading from the front each shift you will respond quickly to customer needs by deploying your team and moving colleagues across the department when needed to address queues, support food production and complete open up and closedown tasks correctly
Ensuring your team have everything they need to carry out their duties for the shift and are available to support them where required
Maintaining correct Food Safety and Health and Safety records on our systems in a timely manner and coaching your team to ensure they follow their training in this area
An eye for detail, you ensure the food quality is maintained to our Westmorland Way standards at every hour of the day, that we are displaying the correct allergen and price point of sale and are recording things accurately
Lead your team with warmth, graft and courage so they understand what good looks like to our customers and follow your lead
Inspire, coach and develop your team to give great service and be passionate about our products and story
Previous experience of leading a small team on a shift essential
Warm and engaging with a great attitude towards customers and colleagues alike
Passionate about food and about our local area
ability to work at pace and deal with multiple tasks , prioritising what needs to be done
Resilient and able to adapt to change
