Shift Engineer / Maintenance Engineer

Here at Futures, we are delighted to be working with a well-established FMCG | Food Manufacturing business based in the Newport area! Due to continued growth, the business is currently looking to appoint an established Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its Engineering Department.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will take responsibility for both proactive and reactive maintenance duties within this fast-paced production environment.
As a key member of the Engineering team, you will share responsibility for achieving budgeted machine performance targets and ensuring the machines are kept running to peak performance within the manufacturing unit.
Daily plant inspections, and monitoring of plant performance.
Facilitate speedy responses to all plant stoppages and plan/implement modifications to new and existing equipment.
Carrying out fault-finding diagnosis/repairs on equipment and plant.
Previous experience working within an FMCG manufacturing environment.
Time served as an apprentice in an engineering discipline, holding a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Multi Skilled Engineering HND / HNC / BTech / ONC / C&G Level 3 qualification or higher.
