Comprising of Anglian Water, Morrison Utility Services, Barhale and Kier, the IOS Alliance work together to concentrate on solutions across the water recycling and clean water asset base.ResponsibilitiesAs SHEQ Manager, you'll support our MEICA site teams and sub-contractors in ensuring safety standards are upheld and to advise on minimising and avoiding risks around day-to-day work. Our Anglian Water team work on maintaining, repairing and upgrading the Non-Infrastructure Assets.Your day to day will include:Actively promoting Safety, Health and Welfare, leading and setting a good example to other employees and stakeholdersWorking closely with the operational teams in carrying out their roles and SHEQ responsibilitiesAssisting the operational teams in developing Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of WorkConduct regular and robust health and safety Inspections & AuditsManage Training and development to ensure a high level of competency throughout the team.Appoint Principal DesignersAppoint DesignersAppoint TWC/TWDCompile and Present monthly team briefsCompile H&S reports for the businessIncident investigationManage and implementation of the SHEQ Improvements plan.Development and implementation of safe working practicesWhat are we looking for?Experience in a similar role within the Utilities/ Water industry with a MEICA backgroundNEBOSH certificate in occupational health & safetyMembership of relevant professional institution (e.g. IOSH, IEMA)Full Driving LicenceInclusion is for everyone.
