Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 per annum, with additional benefits including car or car allowance £#####, Pension, Healthcare, Holiday 33 days inc public holidaysEXPERIENCED COMPLIANCE / SHEQ / HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER REQUIRED FOR IMPLEMENTING PROCEDURES IN A ROLE DIRECTLY REPORTING TO THE SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAMHealth & Safety Compliance Officer / SHEQ ManagerLocation: UK travel expected – Ideal locations North west, South England, or South WalesSalary: £65,000 – £70,000 per annum, with additional benefits including car or car allowance £6300, Pension, Healthcare, Holiday 33 days inc public holidays,Role Overview:We are seeking a highly experienced Health & Safety Compliance Officer / SHEQ Manager to play a crucial role in implementing procedures and managing compliance directly reporting to the Senior Management Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in waste management and recycling, particularly in industries such as Biomass, Wood Recycling, Soil remdiation, Commercial Waste Management, Plastics, Metals, and more.Key Responsibilities:Lead Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality management activities across a multifunctional site.Oversee Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), RIDDOR reports, and conduct Toolbox Talks, LOLER, and PUWER sessions.Administer new and updated procedures and liaise with regulatory bodies such as the Environment Agency and Health and Safety Executive (HSE).Establish and maintain ISO 14001 and 45001 certifications.Foster a positive safety culture and collaborate with the Operations Managers to optimize operational processes.Experience and Qualifications:Valid driving license.Essential qualifications: IOSH, NEBOSH, or higher.Additional beneficial qualifications: TechIOSH, GradIOSH, CMIOSH, or IEMA memberships.Desirable certifications: WAMITAB / COTC.Strong IT skills.Previous Positions May Include:Compliance Manager, Health & Safety Officer, QHSE / HSEQ Advisor, Compliance Officer, SHEQ Manager, Health & Safety Manager, Compliance Advisor.If you meet the above requirements and are ready to take on this challenging yet rewarding role, please submit your application including your CV detailing your relevant experience and qualifications.VAC REF NO.: ZP24SHEQUK1Apply for This Job Role...Attach a CV (Accepted file types: pdf, doc, docx, rtf.)
