Principal People are currently recruiting an exciting opportunity for a SHEQ Advisor to join a fast-growing & dynamic Infrastructure company, predominantly working within the Highways sector. Working in a hybrid format, you will cover sites across Northeast London and have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced and proactive SHEQ leader in a business which is striving to create a positive and proactive Health and Safety culture. With offices in Essex, this exciting opportunity lends itself well to a professional who is seeking a site-based position who is experienced, passionate and can communicate concisely to site teams and clients. The business is seeking a confident, strong communicator who has a natural ability to problem solve, in return the business intrusts its employees to hold autonomy and work on a multi-site, hybrid basis, planning your day to day as you see fit. Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Advisor - GBP45,000 - GBP55,000 + Car or Car Allowance of GBP5,000 + Pension Annual Leave + Discretionary Bonus - London & Essex - REF: (phone number removed)Key responsibilities of this Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Advisor include:
Conducting site audits Building relationships on site Delivering training and mentoring Delivering Toolbox talks Attending site and office meetings Liaising regularly with site teams Carrying out Accident Investigations Delivering Training
The successful Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Advisor will hold:
Experience in Infrastructure or Construction Industry NEBOSH General or equivalent Full UK Driver s License
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
5+ Years experience within Construction or Infrastructure NEBOSH Construction or equivalent NRSWA SMSTS Member of IOSH Temporary Works Environmental Certificate / Membership
