Sheet Metal Fabricator

Have you got experience working with sheet metal machinery? Do you have an interest in working for a metalwork/manufacturing company? If you said yes to either question and live near Maldon then please get in touch!

You will be working in a small team to operate various sheet metal machines including bending and punching machines. You will need to demonstrate the ability to work in a busy production environment and be physically fit enough to lift metal.

The company will provide 24 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and early Friday finishes!

For the suitable candidate a starting salary would be circa �28,000 depending on experience.

Working hours are 07:00-16:00 Monday to Thursday and 07:00-12:00 on a Friday. Due to the hours and location of the role, you will need to have your own transport.

What will I doing?

• Operating sheet metal machines (break press, punch press etc)
• Working from technical drawings
• Assisting junior fabricators when needed
• Safely operate machinery independently
• Maintaining a clean and tidy workshop space
