Your new company You will be working for a national Construction and Engineering services company that has 95 years of experience of delivering high quality services to both public and private clients.Your new role You will be reporting to the Group SHE Director and will ensure consistent implementation and progression of Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures. You will promote a strong and consistent health and safety culture through group companies and the supply chain. You will be assigned a geographical area in which you will carry out the bulk of your work.Key ResponsibilitiesTo be a point of liaison between your Group Company and the Health and Safety Executive when required.To assist with pre-tender/post-tender presentations or offer SHE assistance to our Project/Contract Managers and Estimating teamsTo communicate regularly with the SHE Administrator/other SHE Advisors regarding your movements and progress.To assist your assigned group company with the production of site documentation as necessary.To assist in the production of Safety Alerts, Safety Matters Posters, SHE communications, group policies and procedures and any other publication as required.To lead Accident/Incident Investigations for your Area/Group Company, liaising with all parties and producing a full report and recommendations as per our Company Policy.What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate would ideally have previous experience in the construction industry and also be holding a NEBOSH General or Construction, SMSTS and valid CSCS card.What you'll get in return In return, you will receive a wide range of company benefits and a competitive salary.What you need to do now
