Setting Out Engineer

Peace Recruitment is working with one of Scotland's most established Civil Engineering Contractors to recruit a freelance Site Engineer for up to 12 months in East Ayrshire, on a new renewables project.�

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct precise setting out of structures and equipment as per project requirements.


• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate implementation of designs.


• Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the construction process.


• Provide technical expertise and support to the project team as needed.


• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.


• Able to use Trimble Total Station & GPS.


• Proven experience in setting out engineering on substations or wind farms is preferred.


• Proficiency in using surveying instruments and CAD software.


• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.


• Valid driving license.
