In addition, the role also includes developing land survey reports and performing calculations of measurements and evaluations, all of which will assist Engineers to carry out required works.Main duties will include:Assisting the survey manager in performing topographic surveys, redefinition of works and engineering projects.Assisting the survey manager in carrying out calculations and graphical representations of topographic measurements.Assisting the survey manager in locating appropriate operations points to perform topographic surveys.Performing land levelling and topographic measurements.Carrying out drawings of topographic surveys.Ensuring the preventive and corrective maintenance of surveying equipment.Assisting the survey manager in reviewing the topographic plans drawn up and establish the relevant conditionsCreating periodic updates of the carried-out activitiesSetting out of several activities of the project, structures, utilities & pavement.Carrying out surveys on daily basis for a correct follow of project activities.Completing As-Built Surveys of activities completed.Aiding the survey manager in chargeImplementing control points network.Deliver projects on time, within the budget to the required quality and in a safe manner.Monitor settlement, vibration, piezometers.Analyse data and recording results accurately including the shape, contour, location and dimensions of land or land features.Adjust surveying instruments to maintain their accuracy.Calculating the measurements of sites.Reporting of survey work completed.Strong capability with the use of surveying equipment, including total station and laser scanner.Follow Company procedures.Liaise with others on project as required.Understand and support the requirements of the Health and Safety and Environmental Policies and Management System.Ensure any unconformities identified are dealt appropriately, to meet the requirements of the Health, Safety and Environmental Management System.Additional duties associated with the role as determined by management.ESSENTIAL CRITERIARight to work in the UKBSc Degree in Surveying & Topography (or equivalent)5 years of experience in Survey and setting out worksOR10 years of experience in Survey and setting out worksANDExperience in building works and structures worksProficiency of survey instruments, GPS, total station, digital level, scanner.Skills in AutoCADKnowledge of scan post-processing softwareIn return you will be working on a high profile 'once in a lifetime' project where you will be supported by a collaborative team in a learning environment.
