About the role
Gydan Gilydd, which translates as Together, is an exciting new project that represents ASCs Service User/Carer involvement commitment.
Gydan Gilydd aims to involve current and former users of ASCs advocacy services, Experts by Experience, as volunteers within the organisation to undertake a range of specific tasks that will help us monitor and continuously improve the quality of our advocacy services. It will promote social inclusion; providing volunteers with opportunities to develop knowledge, skills and training for personal wellbeing and employment.
We are seeking a part-time Engagement Officer, tasked with coordinating and implementing the project in its early stages as well as supervision of volunteers and establishing volunteering at the heart of our organisation.
About you
You will have significant experience working in a service user involvement/ volunteer coordinator role as well as a proven track record in supporting individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds to achieve their goals.
