Salary: £34,500 per yearHours: 37 hours per week; PermanentShifts: Monday - FridayRef: JCH052Are you driven by a commitment to integrity, collaboration and effectiveness?We are recruiting for an experienced CQC Registered Manager that is passionate about driving changes and promoting a values-driven culture.The RoleAs the Registered CQC Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the operational day to day management of the service. You’ll lead the team in achieving and where possible improving and maintaining CQC rating, whilst ensuring the delivery of the highest quality person-centered care.Key responsibilities:Ensure compliance with best practice, legislation, Orwell policies, Safeguarding frameworks and CQC regulations.Monitor the commercial performance of the service and ensure the service operates effectively within agreed budgetary parameters.To lead on the housing management of the service working in partnership with other agencies.Ensure the highest quality person-centered care is delivered and ensure the care team receive specified training to deliver care safely and effectively.Ensure that all statutory safeguarding regulations are adhered to.About youOur ideal Service Manager will have:Proven experience of CQC inspections and managing a care service.Proven record of leadership and developing and supporting a team.Experience of working with older persons, people living with dementia and end of life care.Working knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults.Ability to build collaborative relationships with others inside and outside own area.Experience of managing budgets and housing management.Person SpecificationLevel 4 or 5 in Health and Social Care is essential.Leadership qualification or willingness to gain a qualification in the Orwell Academy.GCSE Maths and English (grades A-C / 9-4 or equivalent).A full driving licence is desirable.Jamie Cann House is situated in Ravenswood, Ipswich.
