Neos are currently working with a leader within the Plant sector, they operate Nationwide dealing with some of the UK’s largest organisations. They are currently looking for a Service Manager to join the business to assist with their next stage of growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-respected & well known brand within the Plant Industry.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience working within the plant sector and ideally have a technical understanding of how large machinery works. You will be a proven Service Manager who has previously overseen warranties, damages out, service contracts and more. You will be commercially minded & understand customer requirements.

The day to day role of the Service Manager will be to oversee a team of Service Engineers, Workshop Engineers & Service Controllers, making sure they are working efficiently as possible to maximise customer satisfaction! You will be used to standard process within a Service department including warranties, damages out, service contracts, H&S, lead times and third party contract management.

The Role:

• Managing a team of engineers, controllers & yard staff
• Liaising with customers & building relationships
• Accountable for departmental Health and Safety compliance
• Build relationships internally
• Responsible for sales & costs, ensuring budget delivery

The Candidate:

• Experienced within a Service Manager role
• Experience working within Quarrying, Recycling, Materials Handling, Heavy Plant
• Mechanical engineering qualification
• Heavy Plant mechanical engineering knowledge
• Confident managing a team & customers
