Service Manager / Service leader required to join an award-winning marine equipment supplier, that also offers marine engine repair and overhaul, boat refit, and repair.
We are looking for a Service Manager / Service leader based in Poole. As the Service Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Service department, for a marine service business.
You must have a background in service management within a marine environment.

Up to �40,000 depending on experience.

Role
the day-to-day management of the Service department, for a marine service business.
Daily supervision and administration of the service department to guarantee that client requirements are always surpassed
Take enquiries and provide quotes, raising job cards, purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
Providing Technical advice as required
Closely collaborating with the parts department and parts manager to guarantee that parts are ordered ahead of time or are appropriately distributed from stock for jobs.

Ensure that all workshop machinery and equipment is properly maintained that maintenance is tracked, and that it complies with insurance requirements as well as health and safety.

Attend monthly management meetings, the directors will get reports from the Service Manager, who will be responsible for inspiring and growing the service department.
Organise work schedules for the engineers.
Based in Poole

Requirements
Proven service management experience
Experience as a service manager or service leader within the marine industry or similar.
Must know about marine engine repair and overhaul, boat refit, and repair.
Must be commutable to Poole, but able to travel to Southampton as required
