Service Manager - Learning Disability Service
Location: Ealing, West London
Salary: £34,000
Hours: 37 hours - Monday to Friday
Service Type: Learning disabilities, autism, acquired brain injury
About the company & service:
A 7 bed supported living service for adults with learning difficulties, autism, acquired brain injury and/or physical disabilities.
Situated in Ealing, West London, the service location is close to the town centre enabling the service users to build their confidence to go out alone.

The role:


  • Responsible for service level requirements and ensuring business objectives are met
  • Adhere to CQC standards and regulations and facilitate inspections
  • To stay up to date with changes or new legislation affecting the provision of services
  • To act as a representative for the Company and operate in accordance with their policies and procedures
  • To deliver training for inductees and existing employees
  • To ensure the Service is fully staffed and the required level of resources are available to support Service Users
  • To support the service users medical needs and behaviour management
  • To liaise with external stakeholders including care managers, medical professionals, service users and their families


About you:


  • You will have a NVQ level 4 or above
  • You will have a minimum of 4 years managing a service
  • You will have experience working with Learning Disabilities
  • You will have stayed in most posts for more than a year
  • You will have service rates of Good or above
  • You will have strong communication, time management and organisational skills
  • You will have a flexible and positive approach
