Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Manager to join our Facilities team, specialising in Water Hygiene & Legionella . As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service department and ensuring exceptional customer service. If you have a passion for providing excellent service, strong leadership skills, and knowledge of the Water Hygiene & Legionella industry, we want to hear from you!
Job Duties:
· Provide support to enable growth of the environmental division in the UK for Dalkia Scotland.
· Ensure continuous improvement, development, and effectiveness across all contracts.
· Ensure that the following Remedial Works are carried out in accordance with the requirements of ACOP L8, HSG 274, BS806 and the Water Supply (Water Fittings)
Regulations & Byelaws:-
Installing Thermostatic Mixer Valves
Repairing or replacing water heaters
Removal of dead-legs (redundant pipework or water service) or other unwanted water services
Insulating water storage tanks and its associated pipe work
Re-configuration of pipe work within a cold water storage tank
Fixing a new tank lid o Installing / replacing ball valve
Installing insect and rodent screens on cold water storage tanks
Cleaning and disinfection of water storage tanks
Tank re-lining
Tank replacement
· Deal promptly with any priority works allocated by the Helpdesk.
· Support the operations manager.
· Support the Helpdesk Manager in planning for 1600+sites across the UK for Concept Evolution.
· Carry out site legionella risk assessments as required.
· Undertake audits to ensure statutory compliance for UKAS.
· Undertake training that may be required to fulfil duties and train legionella technicians.
· Supervising and developing a team of technicians and risk assessors
· Provide excellent technical advice and support.
· Ensure internal and client KPIs are met.
· Mentor legionella technician`s and give technical support when required.
