This is an exciting opportunity for a
dynamic and highly motivated individual to head, lead and oversee the excellent delivery of support and welfare of residents supporting vulnerable adults with mental health conditions and complex, challenging and special needs. You will be responsible for managing a team of recovery coordinators and ensuring that service complies with the requirements of the Quality Assurance Framework (QAF). You will oversee that the residents are provided with a supportive service that will engage and empower them to develop their life skills and prepare and enable them to live independently.
Key Requirements
Undergraduate degree (or equivalent)in social work, psychology, health and social care, housing or other related fields.
Experience in managing one or more services or accommodations and in managing people in mental health related services.
Experience managing incidents and challenging behaviour with resilience within a high supported mental health environment.
Experience dealing with statutory agencies involved in mental health.
Excellent knowledge of mental health conditions and dual diagnosis.
Excellent knowledge of equality, diversity and safeguarding procedures.
Knowledge of support planning and risk assessing client’s needs.
Knowledge of the Quality Assessment Framework (QAF) or Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Ability to plan and prioritise own work to meet deadlines and strict targets.
Good problem solving andconflict management skills in a high pressure environment.
Experience managing people and staff rotas.
Warm and friendly demeanour with a positive and open-minded attitude.
