Service Manager 0-25 Disability Social Care

Are you passionate about working with disabled children, young adults and families and have management experience as a qualified social worker in Childrens and or Adults Social Care if so, we would love to hear from you.The 0-25 Service currently has 2 social work teams and a short breaks home. This is a new post which will support the development of the service. You will have oversight and responsibility of practice and staff across the 2 social work teams (0-25), initially line managing 1 team manager and 2 senior practitioners (0-18) alongside strategic responsibilities.
As the Service Manager you will have extensive experience in managing staff, complex situations, safeguarding and managing risk. You will lead, develop and directly manage the performance and quality assurance of practice of the 0-25 Service across Children and Adult Social Care.As the Service Manager you will have a sound knowledge and practical application of legislation across Children and Adult Social Care and the SEND agenda.As the Service Manager you will provide effective leadership and work collaboratively as part of the senior leadership team and with partner agencies, reporting directly to the Head of Service.Please do call Anita Hewson (Head of Service) on 07484 520 827 to discuss this post.Interviews for the post will take place on Friday 30th April 2024 at Sand Martin House Peterborough.
