Service Instrumentation Engineer
Based in the East Midlands
13 Weeks Temporary to Permanent Role
Hourly rate whilst temporary: £23.15 p/h PAYE Plus £2.79 holiday
Travel is paid door to door / No overtime rates whilst permanent
Permanent basic salary £38k per annum plus overtime & bonuses totalling up to an OTE of 45k-50k
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8-10 hours including
Paid Travel - Laptop – Van - Additional allowance for food when required to stay over
Start: Immediate, with weld test required
Provide installation, calibration, commissioning and start up assistance for various process systems in the pharmaceutical, food, chemical and healthcare industries.
Conduct reactive breakdown assistance & PPMs
Identify additional opportunities to offer further services to the client.
Checking equipment to make sure it is working to an acceptable standard.
The type of equipment you will service includes flow metres / temp probes / pressure gauges.
Qualify that the machine matches the specification.
Ensure equipment is working correctly.
Complete and store all relevant documentation such as test certificates.
Represent the company on-site and need to dress and act accordingly.
Candidate Skills required for a Service Instrumentation Engineer:
Relevant experience of maintaining instrumentation
Worked in a process sector environment previously
Experience of maintaining and servicing equipment such as “flow metres / temp probes / pressure gauges”.
Has experience of calibrating, repairing, servicing, cleaning, and validating equipment.
Has experience of reactive and preventative maintenance on this equipment.
