The Successful
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Engineer
will provide mechanical repair, service and maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic related products at customer sites across the Midlands.
The
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Engineer
will ideally have a service engineer background in hydraulics, pneumatics, hoses, valves, actuators, power packs, pumps, cylinders filtration, motors, and or similar fluid power products / systems.

Engineer Role
To provide mechanical repair, service and maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic related products at customer sites across the Midlands, like Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, Sheffield, Northampton.
The Hydraulic Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of hydraulic systems such as hoses, cylinders, valves, and other hydraulic equipment at customer sites.
Installing Hydraulic products into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various Hydraulic equipment.
Liaise with various engineering departments.

Engineer Requirements
Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical/mechanical engineering systems.
Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer or similar.
Must have experience working on hydraulics, hoses, pumps, motors, cylinders, and or similar hydraulic / pneumatic equipment / systems.
The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
A technical mechanical / electrical / electronic / instrumentation qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
Homebased, willing to travel and stay away when required.
