Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Engineer required to join a global engineering manufacturer.

The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Engineer
will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance on high-speed rotating equipment at customer sites across the UK and internationally.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Engineer will have a field service background in electrical or mechanical engineering such as turbo gears, compressors, turbines, pumps, generators, vacuum systems, valves, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and / or electromechanical engineering equipment

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Engineer Role
  • To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance of high-speed rotating equipment at customer sites.
  • The Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of turbo gears, compressors, turbines, pumps, and other high speed rotating equipment across the UK and internationally.
  • Submit accurate visit and time sheets duly signed by the customer upon completion of the work.
  • Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various high-speed rotating equipment such as turbo gears, compressors, turbines, and pumps.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Engineer Requirements
  • Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical / mechanical engineering systems.
    Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer or similar.
  • The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Offshore experience is critical.
  • Field servicing background in turbo gears, compressors, turbines, pumps, generators, vacuum systems, valves, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and / or electromechanical engineering equipment
  • A technical mechanical / electrical / electronic / instrumentation qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally.�
