Service Engineer

A great opportunity for an experienced pharmaceutical or food industry Field Service Engineer or Factory Maintenance Engineer to join a worldwide market leading manufacturer of packaging machinery supplied to the pharmaceutical market.Great package, great company and a genuinely nice place to work but travel and staying away from home throughout the UK & Ireland is required.
 
BASIC SALARY: up to £48,000
 
BENEFITS:
· Circa £10,000 Overtime
· Up to £4,000 Annual Bonus

LOCATION: A home based role covering the UK and Ireland, you will ideally be living within 2 hours of Birmingham

JOB DESCRIPTION: Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer - manufacturer, machinery
 
A classic Field Service Engineer role working as part of a team spending 40% of your time on installation and commissioning and 60% on repairs, modification and upgrades with existing clients in the pharmaceutical market.
 
You will be expected to stay away from home 4 nights a week 60% of the time and 2 nights per week 40% of the time.
 
There is very little weekend work required and overtime is paid door to door.
 
Full induction and product training followed by up to 6 months shadowing an existing Engineer.
 
KEY REQUIREMENTS: Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer - manufacturer, machinery
 
· You MUST have a proven track record as a Field Service Engineer or as a Factory Maintenance Engineer working within the pharmaceutical or food markets.
· You will ideally have hands on experience of working upon packaging and/or process machinery.
· You will also be a qualified Multiskilled Engineer.
· You will be willing and able to travel and stay away as required above.
