Ideal candidates would preferably have an industrial background, experience working with cranes, worked with electrical switch gear, 3 phase motors and have great mechanical fault-finding skills.

Service Engineer On/Offshore Role:



You will be responsible for the inspections under LOLER, preventative maintenance under PUWER, breakdowns and repairs, modifications, installation, testing and commissioning of all crane equipment supplied to our customers from our Manufacturing department. Excellent customer service is required for this role, to maintain the company's great reputation with all our customers onshore, offshore and internationally.




  • Field based role Onshore and Offshore

  • Maintenance and service of cranes nationwide, offshore and Internationally

  • Inspections under LOLER,

  • Preventative maintenance under PUWER,

  • Breakdowns and repairs,

  • Modifications,

  • Installation,

  • Testing

  • Commissioning of all crane equipment

  • Reporting clearly to the customer

  • maintaining good customer relations

  • Quoting repairs and Modifications using our easy-to-use quoting sheets





Service Engineer On/Offshore Requirements:



Experience in working with cranes ideal but not necessary

Must have a clean driver’s licence

Competent 'fault finding' capabilities mechanically and on both 3-phase wiring & control circuits

Mechanical / electrical skillset

must be good in both verbal and literary English

must be self-motivated and be able to work independently and as part of a team





Service Engineer On/Offshore Package:



Salary 37k Basic up to £70k+ with Overtime and Bonuses.

Offshore bonus £50 - £110 per day dependent where working

Commission on profits form repairs and Modification quotes

£50 bonus for new service contracts brought in
