Service Desk Engineer (2nd/3rd Line)

Harvey Nash have partnered with a fast-growing, ambitious managed service provider in Yorkshire who are coming off the back of a very successful year. The business have secured a number of exciting client projects and are now looking to invest and grow the team.

They are searching for a Service Desk Engineer to provide their customers with 2^nd/3^rd line technical support across a variety of services and solutions such as: Azure, VMWare, FortiGate Networking, Windows Server, and InTune - you will support the maintenance and implementation of these solutions to a variety of projects and clients as you aim to deliver exceptional support to their customers.

What they would like to see from you:

🔸 A strong technical skills across a variety of solutions and services within the Microsoft technical stack (Windows Server, Endpoint Manager, Azure, Teams, Office Suite)
🔸 Experienced with virtualisation tools such as VMWare, Azure VMs, Hyper-V
🔸 Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, customer-facing and an active member within a team
🔸 Experienced with O365, Exchange, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra/Azure Active Directory
🔸 Network Support, FortiGate, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, VOIP, VLANs, Gateways, DNS, DHCP
🔸 Experience within a support function of a MSP/Consultancy
