As they have experienced recent growth they are now looking to recruit a Service Charge Accountant on a permanent basis to help support the Finance team.Job DescriptionAs a Service Charge Accountant reporting to the Head of Finance your duties will include;Ensure that company policies and procedures are consistently applied to the required standardsSetting up new clients' accountsMaintaining and reconciling client bank accountsSetting and managing annual budgets for each siteApportioning budgets in line with clients' lease agreementsPaying of suppliers and contractorsDrafting a service charge account for each client.Creating Journals, accruals and prepaymentsProducing quarterly reports to track and analyse expenditureCreating provisions and reserve funds for any potential requirementsLiaising with the auditors regarding finalised accountsFiling of clients accounts on time at Companies HouseCarrying out adjustments and sending actual expenditure reportsThe Successful ApplicantIdeally experience in Service charge Accounting.Working towards an accounting qualification AAT/ACCA/CIMA.Excellent Excel and computer skills are required.Enthusiastic, professional, well organised.Experience working with balance sheets.What's on OfferUp to £26000, 25 days holidays plus banks + Hybrid working + Free parking + Staff benefits + Progression+ many more...
