Service Assurance Analyst
£36,024 - £44,263 (can go higher for the right person) + exciting benefits package

Our client is on the lookout for a Service Assurance Analyst to ensure that new and changed services are consistently designed and transition in line with the IT Services Strategy, and that they meet current and future customer requirements. You will co-ordinate all Service Design and Transition activities working closely with Project Teams, Workstream Leads and the Service Assurance Management Teams to capture the production Service Design and Service Transition requirements. You will ensure that these requirements are understood, considered and addressed within the project lifecycle through Service Design Packages and the attainment of agreed Service Transition and Operational Readiness criteria
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The creation of Service Design and Transition Packages, Service Introduction Plans, processes, and operational readiness material to support a smooth transition into all IT functions
Responsible for ensuring compliance with key ITIL processes in respect of Service Design and Transition
Responsible for ensuring that wider processes within Service Operations are reviewed and updated as applicable
Contribute to the development of all standard Service Design & Transition Procedures, Artefacts and Templates
Reports on and identifies improvement opportunities making recommendations for progression in line with defined business outcomes
Responsible for ensuring that all new and changed services meet the agreed Service Acceptance Criteria and Operational Readiness measures in line with the agreed Service Design and Transition scope
Identifies, defines and documents Non-Functional Requirements to ensure that new or change service and products meet the requirements of the business
The following skills and experience will be beneficial for the role:
Proven experience co-ordinating Service Design and Service Transition activities for new and changed services
Understanding of ITIL
Experience of collaborating with multiple stakeholders to successfully onboard all new and changed solutions delivered into the production environment
A demonstrable understanding of Availability Management, Capacity Management and Information and Governance
Experience of project delivery and working within a governance framework
