Service and Maintenance Engineer

The Company

Established for over 15 years, a renowned provider in the environmental and pollution regulation industry has been delivering cost-effective solutions for global brands across various sectors including Water, Waste & Recycling & Food & Beverage. Their focus lies in assisting clients to reduce their environmental impact and adhere to regulatory standards. They are now looking for a Service & Maintenance Manager to join the team on a full-time basis.
The role
A Service & Maintenance Engineer is now required to join the technical services team to be responsible for the installation, service, and repair of odour control equipment across various sites.

You will take responsibility for:

• To carry out all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance, fault diagnostics, service, and repair on a variety of mechanical equipment.
• Installation and commissioning work of various sewage treatment / water waste equipment.
• Providing technical advice, training support, and operational reports for clients.
• Providing ongoing technical support and training across the team, and ensuring all work carried out is compliant to H&S regulations
  

What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:

• Must have strong mechanical experience with industry relevant qualifications (C&G, BTEC, NVQ, HNC)
• Proven track record of working in a field service and/or maintenance role
• Competent with welding/fabrication work and pipe fitting
• Sound health and safety knowledge with the ability to work in various environments/conditions and confined spaces.
• Ideally valid CSCS/CNSG Card

Other DESIRABLE skills include:

• Previous experience working within water/waste/recycling or similar industries would be advantageous.

On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established business with a rapidly growing customer base. You will benefit from a salary of �30,000 - �40,000 DOE, + OTE, Company Vehicle and Fuel Card. Other benefits include pension contribution, generous holiday allowance, progression opportunities, etc. Standard working week 08:00 - 16:00, plenty of overtime available, overnight accommodation and travel expenses included.
