Are you an experienced Systems or Service Analyst?
Do you have experience supporting and configuring Oracle applications to make sure continuity of service and functionality for end users?
We have an opening for a Service Analyst to join our growing team on a 2 year fixed term contract!
You will be supporting SSCL’s Oracle Fusion services provided to our public sector client, looking after the management of their HR functions. You will play a crucial role in supporting and configuring Oracle systems to meet the specific client needs and requirements.
As well as providing analysis of issues and liaising with Oracle and SSCL teams to develop and test fixes for resolution, the successful applicant will also support the review and deployment of quarterly content released by Oracle. This will include future system enhancements and managing client requested changes through impacting, solution development, testing and deployment.
This hybrid role will be based from home 3 days a week and joining the team working out of one of our modern Centre's of Excellence inGlasgow, Blackpool, Newcastle, York, Newport or Gosport the other 2 days.
What you’ll be doing:
Work closely with customers to understand the business requirements raised via change processes
Translate business requirements into proposed system solutions that can guide the configuration process
Set up and configure Oracle instances based on requested changes
Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions to make sure it meets the specified requirements
Maintain comprehensive documentation for developed solutions for future reference and troubleshooting
Triage and investigate any defects (via change process) and incidents raised via support process
Liaise with support team and Oracle to identify fixes
Review and analyse quarterly release content for systems impact, discuss with delivery teams and agree any required actions
Configure and apply roles, privileges and access controls
What you’ll bring:
Previous experience of configuring and supporting on SAP/ Workday or similar ERP product
Ability to plan and prioritise work effectively to achieve targets and desired outcomes
Keen attention to detail
A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow within this domain
It would be great if you had:
Familiarity with Oracle HR/HCM processes including absence management, annual leave and talent and performance
Knowledge of HR processes and policies, particularly within the Government sector
