We are thrilled to be working in partnership with an automotive business in Bedford to recruit for a Service Advisor to join their successful team.
As a Service Advisor, you hold a crucial position within the dealership, serving as the primary liaison between customers and our workshop. Positioned at the forefront of the showroom, a genuine passion for assisting customers is essential. During your initial weeks, you'll participate in our Customer Journey induction program, shadowing opportunities, and a buddy system, all tailored to facilitate a smooth transition into your new role.
Main duties of the Service Advisor:

  • Establishing and nurturing customer relationships prior to their appointments, warmly welcoming them upon arrival.
  • Ensuring a positive and proactive experience for customers throughout their journey.
  • Serving as an advocate for both the business and the customer, leveraging expertise to support decision-making and achieve favourable outcomes.
  • Handling all customer-related administrative tasks with precision and empathy.
  • Proactively assisting customers with future needs.
  • Collaborating with the team to uphold exceptional customer service standards and foster customer retention.


Requirements of the Service Advisor:

  • Prior experience in customer service is a prerequisite.
  • You must have a fervent dedication to the customer journey, prioritising exceptional experiences.
  • Comfortable with deadlines, adept at managing customer expectations through consistent communication and updates.
  • Possess strong attention to detail and organisational skills to handle your own customer base and workload effectively.
  • Capable of professionally handling complex customer issues and seeking guidance from management when needed.
  • Tech-savvy, preferably with prior experience using CRM systems.
