A client of ours in the Haverhill area are recruiting a Service Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent role working a rotating 37.5-hour week and paying �25,000 - �26,500 per annum depending on experience.
Working hours are 37.5/week on a rota covering Monday to Friday 7.30am-5pm & one weekend in five Saturday 8am-8pm/Sunday 9am-6pm. Please note weekend working is home based.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
- Ensure break fix calls received are acknowledged and processed accurately and efficiently, within Customer Service Level Agreements (SLA)
- Ensure calls are answered then scheduled effectively and ensure engineer attendance so that SLAs are achieved in the most cost-effective way and that engineer downtime is minimised
- Keep customers regularly updated on the status of break fix calls
- Effectively schedule planned preventative maintenance calls in a timely manner ensuring deadlines are met
- Log calls for engineers in relation to project work
- Regularly check IT/Call Management systems to identify calls that require additional processing or support
- Access external customer portals where necessary to identify, log and update break fix calls/incidents
- Communicate with customers at store, head office and helpdesk level to assist in resolving breakdown incidents in order to limit customer downtime, by diagnosing and remotely fixing where possible.
- Provide first level triage for all software queries/issues where required.
- Assist engineers & subcontractors to test customer systems in order to resolve outstanding incidents.
- Provide reports on the status of reactive, planned preventative works and projects as requested by internal/external customers
- Raise Purchase Orders and prepare Quotes/ Sales orders for chargeable equipment
- Order replacement parts to ensure timely resolution of break fix calls or project work
- Other ad hoc duties are required
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Service Administrator position:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience within an Service Desk Administration role or planning position essential.
- Manufacturing and production to commercial industries experience desirable
- Highly organised.
- Strong sense of initiative and ownership.
- Professional approach.
- Ability to build good relationships.
- Proficient within MS Office especially in Word and Excel.
