Cordius are working with a multi-award-winning digital marketing agency specialising in SEO, PPC and Digital PR. They are looking for a talented SEO specialist with at least 1 year experience working directly on strategizing and implementing SEO campaigns to join their team in this remote role.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with client communication and leading meetings. They will be
an exceptional individual with a real flair for both SEO and client management who can develop innovative strategies and techniques to deliver clients goals and run highly successful campaigns.
Job Scope:
As an SEO Manager, you will directly manage a wide range of SEO campaigns across multiple industries. You will stay up to date with the latest trends and updates in the industry, both in terms of on-site and off-site factors.
You will not only be the main point of contact for your clients, but you will be hands on with strategizing the campaign to reach clients goals, implementing basic technical SEO with support from the development team, and working closely with the content and offsite teams to strategize and deliver monthly work.
Responsibilities:
Maintain regular contact with clients at all times, ensuring they are kept up to date on changes and progress within their campaign whilst dealing with any queries that arise
Have a good knowledge of clients objectives and campaign results
Monitor and understand client’s markets and their environments, you should have views on market issues and be up to date with competitive activity
Identify opportunities on and off site to improve performance in organic search results
Understand and be familiar with the stages and processes involved in developing and implementing SEO strategies
Stay up to date with industry developments so as to anticipate and prepare clients for these changes
Implement basic technical SEO work and improve your technical skillset with support from our development team
Utilise industry-leading tools such as SEMrush, Google Analytics (incl. GA4), Ahrefs, Content King, Screaming Frog and more.
Appropriately manage workload and utilisation through project management software Wrike.
Key skills you’ll need:
Minimum of 1 year experience* in SEO and providing clients with comprehensive SEO consultation and execution services (*agency experience desirable)
Be able to demonstrate strong experience within an SEO role and have strong analytical capabilities
Experience in account managing brands across multiple industries
Expert knowledge of SEO strategies and best practices including technical, outreach and content marketing
Strong oral and written communication skills with both colleagues and clients
Excellent attention to detail and high level of organisation and diligence
Results driven, self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and willingness to learn
Ability to adapt quickly to changing needs and keep all tasks on track
