We are ambitious and passionate about what we believe is right for our customers, our teams, ourselves, and interactive investor.PURPOSE OF ROLE:The SEO Content Analyst plays a pivotal role in the SEO team and the wider Digital Product Growth Team at interactive investor. This role is crucial in enhancing interactive investor’s online presence, content quality standards and driving conversions.Reporting to the SEO Manager, the SEO Content Analyst will be integral in delivering ii’s SEO content strategy, working closely with the SEO and Content Manager.The role will be responsible for in-depth topic and keyword research, delivering content briefs to our SEO Writers, editing & improving content, monitoring and reporting on SEO content performance, and collaborating with subject matter experts & stakeholders. The primary objective is to improve interactive investors’ organic search visibility and drive prospect-to-client conversions.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify valuable search queries related to areas of improvement or expansion for ii.• Set up keyword tracking, monitoring performance daily, and identifying quick wins and opportunities to improve rankings.• Provide detailed briefs to SEO writers and work with them to ensure content is optimised before uploading to the CMS. Regularly feedback to writers on drafts.• Edit and improve SEO content yourself in the CMS or in draft form, ensuring sign off from appropriate stakeholders.• Create and deliver SEO Content reports, reporting on keyword movements, traffic, conversions, key achievements, and other valuable metrics.• Monitor rankings and performance on a daily basis and alert SEO Manager of any significant changes impacting traffic or conversions.• Audit existing content and identify areas to improve performance.• Analyse on-page SEO elements and implement best-practice recommendations, including optimising for search intent, title tags, internal links, URLs, and image optimisation.• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure content is accurate and relevant.• Upload and format SEO recommendations within the CMS, including title tags, internal links, content edits, and some technical changes.• Support the SEO Manager and Senior Performance Marketing Manager in delivering the overall SEO strategy to improve organic performance and drive organic traffic and conversions.• Monitor and analyse competitor SEO performance and adjust our approach to maintain a competitive edge.• Regularly analyse SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEOMonitor, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.• Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and search engine algorithm updates and provide recommendations to adapt our strategy and tactics accordinglySKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Essential• Proven experience in SEO content strategy or production (such as SEO Content Editor, SEO Content Exec/Manager roles), ideally with extensive experience briefing writers and improving content.• Proficiency in SEO tools and software (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs).• Strong keyword research skills & competitor analysis experience.• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with content writers and senior stakeholders• Detailed knowledge of on-page and off-page SEO best practices.• Solid analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and metrics• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.• Familiarity with the financial industry or investment products is a plus.• In-house experience is a plus but not necessary.• Able to work in the Manchester office 3 days a week.
