Sensory Support Specialist

Do you have experiece supporting students with visual and/or hearing impairments?I am looking to appoint a highly motivated, experienced and enthusiastic Sensory Support Specialist.The role
You would be working alongside children who have been diagnosed with visual, hearing or multi-sensory impairmentYou will need to have had experience of collabratively working with a range of professionals and agenciesExperience of producing specialist resources for children with sensory impairment and other SENDIdeally you will have both or either a qualification in Braille or British Sign Language (Level 2)
Requirements
DBS on the update service or be willing to purchaseSupporting children in learning Braille, Touch Typiing and how to use their assistive technologySetting up of VI/HI equipmentQulification in Braille or British Sign Language - Level 2 or above

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
