The RoleYou will work as a Service Design expert with proficient experience in the Human Centered Design Process and guide application teams through the design process within the larger SDLC.What would be my responsibilities?Conducting and facilitating design thinking workshopsArchitect the information flow to come up with detailed wireframes, screen designs and prototyping using Figma and similar design tools.Create and revise information architecture documents including but not limited to; site maps, user profiles, research, user scenarios, wireframes, content matrices, flow diagrams/process maps, and detailed design requirements/specifications.Devise and facilitate usability test sessions, analyze data and preset findings with recommendations to stakeholder team.Provide design effort level scoping.Conduct UX Quality Assurance during development and testing phases to ensure the system looks and behaves as specified by UX. Log issues and rate according to usability impact. Provide UX direction for unexpected development challenges.What experience and skills do we need from a Senior User Experience Designer?Experience of managing/leading Service Design & UX work streams, with a strong ability to communicate, connect the dots across the teams and articulate reasons behind any suggestions you make across the programDrive service design, design governance across the program, set standards for user needs through research and challenge and shape the program user experience principles using a range of user-based testing methodologiesPossess experience/knowledge of a range of UX and design methods and deliverables (e.g. Wire-framing/Prototyping, UX/UI Design).Strong interpersonal skills, and open to giving and receiving constructive feedback to learn and further develop yourself as a UX professional.Have a natural aptitude for technology and innovation, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and troubleshoot them independently.Eager to identify, define and implement new interaction models and methodologies.Understanding of Design Principles and Digital Service Standards and its application to internal products and services.Ability to paper prototype, sketching within the ideation process to communicate fulfilment of business/user goals within a UI to initiate co-creation streamsExperienced working in Agile environments, feeding design input into the development process within sprints. Ideally, with a proven track-record of implementing UX process within Agile environments with quick and iterative methods.Work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, product managers and other team members who are as passionate about their work as you are, to ensure design solutions make a significant contribution to the delivery of the service.Communicating and disseminating UX solutions, tradeoff rationales, and documenting outputs in engaging ways. Forms confident and productive relationships with stakeholders. An ability to build rapport and value with product owners and the business through communication and engagement is a must.It Is Preferable That You Also Have6+ years of experience in Digital DesignExperience with wireframing, UI design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe Indesign or Adobe IllustratorBA/BS or MA/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Human Factors or related field.Experience delivering designs for the use of multiple development teams across the productWe are looking for great User Experience Designers first. While experience in legal and regulatory compliance services environments is a plus, it is not essential.We are happy to consider candidates with a wide variety of educational backgrounds and qualifications, preference is given to those with a BA/BS or MA/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Human Factors, or related field.
