Senior Wellbeing Practitioner Band 6 - EMHP, CWP Senior Wellbeing Practitioner Band 6 - EMHP, CWPWe are seeking to recruit two experienced senior wellbeing practitioners to join the Tower Hamlets Education Wellbeing Service (THEWS).THEWS is a Mental Health Support Team (MHST) established following the government Green Paper: Transforming Children & Young People's Mental Health Provision. The service has undergone recent expansion.Main duties of the jobThe three core functions of a Mental Health Support Team (MHST) are:Delivering evidence-based interventions for children and young people (CYP) with mild-to-moderate mental health problems.Supporting the senior mental health lead in each education setting to introduce, develop and deliver the whole school/college approach.Giving timely advice to school and college staff, and liaising with external specialist services, to help CYP to get the right support and stay in education.The role involves delivering all three MHST functions. The role involves providing clinical supervision to trainees and or newly qualified EWPs and holding small caseload of clinical work while acting as a senior link supporting school leads to develop their whole school approach to wellbeing, project work, and other tasks as/when required.About usOur mission is to make a positive difference to people's lives by improving the quality of life for all we serve.
