It’s the way we do things, trusting and giving our people the autonomy to manage their own day-to-day, promoting wellbeing, whilst still prioritising time together with our colleagues to connect, collaborate and share our ideas.How you’ll change it upThe Senior Wayleave Officer is responsible for overseeing all wayleave activities within the RuralPortfolio, ensuring timely execution while maximising efficiency and affordability.What you’ll bring to the roleThis is an exciting opportunity to build a function from scratch where you will be developing policies, leading a team, managing budgets, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders.You’ll also bring the following with you:Previous experience in developing a sustainable outsource strategy for wayleave acquisition, ensuring that workstack fluidity and performance is maximised whilst costs are controlled.The ability to develop a robust and scalable wayleave resourcing model whilst blending internal resourcing and strategic supply chain managementSignificant experience managing external Wayleaves partners, developing, scope, operating principles andthe contract frameworkDetailed understanding of statutory and legal frameworks under which CityFibre can build its instal and maintain its infrastructure, with special attention to the '- Electronic Communications Code 'The Code' and the Digital Economy Act.Ability to negotiate with Landowners, tenants and other third parties to secure permission for apparatus installation.We’re looking for people who don’t settle for ‘good enough’ and push things forward.
