Senior Wayfinding Designer - 12 month FTC or Freelance

Job Description
A leading, global architecture practice with a great reputation is looking for a Senior Wayfinding Designer to take a lead role in the design and delivery of high-profile wayfinding projects.
Working alongside the Creative Director you will join an established, super-talented design team in a fun, friendly working environment. This practice really looks after its employees with lots of perks and social activities.
Responsibilities include: -
Liaise with clients to discuss briefs, deliverables, and timelines
Lead the projects and collaborate with the design team and client on all aspects of the design process
Work closely with architects, manufacturers, and other third-party design teams to align workflow
Coordinate with vendors to maintain design intent and document design through plans, elevations, and details
Produce artwork according to signage requirements and communicate design decisions
Key Skills Required: -
Prior experience working in a similar graphic design role specialising in wayfinding or information design
Experience in working with architecture and spatial design
Exceptional graphic design skills with a strong background in map design, pictograms and information graphics
A good understanding of architectural construction documents, scales, sections, plans, and elevations; proficiency in drawing in scale
Excellent design aesthetic and typography skills
Effective written, visual, verbal, and presentation communication skills
Excellent knowledge Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
