Job DescriptionSenior UX DesignerThe RoleOur UX Designers are responsible for owning broader parts of the projects they work on, covering the strategy and experience elements of the product. You will be looking at projects with a holistic approach, assisting the lead designer with the output of the project from a from a client and team perspective. You will also need the practical and technical knowledge to back up ideas. As a Senior Designer, you will promote industry leading practices that will explore user insight, generate, and validate ideas and deliver engaging digital experiences.Our practice is formed around 3 core pillars: Client, Craft and CultureAs Senior UX Designer, you will contribute to our studio by:Client:· Own broader parts of the project· Contribute to the broader strategy of the work· Understand project holisticallyCraft:· Mastered your craft and are a go-to person for advice· Specify how things should be set up and delivered across disciplinesCulture:Responsible for specific initiatives within the studioEncourage others to take an active role in the studioAs a Senior UX Designer at TCS Interactive you will be expected to:Digital background / strong digital skillset in UX design.Developing unique, feasible consumable product solutions which deliver added value to our existing customers, new customers, and end usersCutting edge, pro-active product innovation'Can-do' attitude that always delivers on time and to the highest qualityOwn projects from conception through to delivery ensuring consistency and quality of design outputLead concept design across a variety of project types spanning web, mobile & deviceParticipate in and lead both team and client workshop sessions.Gain client and stakeholder buy-in to your ideas through effective presentation and engagement.Work with technologists to ensure effectiveness and feasibility of your designsManaging and mentoring the more junior members of the design teamKey Skills and experience required of the role:Proven experience in a senior design position within an agency or product businessExcellent communication & organisation skillsStrong conceptual and design skillsGood understanding of design fundamentalsA strong opinion and the ability to sell your vision to clientsExperience designing from customer insight and iterating from data.A passion for emerging technologies, devices, and digital products with a focus on user-centric designA team player that loves collaborating with clients and colleagues.Experience using prototypes to iterate, optimise and validate your designs through user testingAbout UsTCS Interactive is a leader in the digital customer experience space.
