Senior Tutor (Head of House)

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Senior Tutor (Head of House) and teacher of PE to join our brand-new school, which opened in September 2023. This is a unique opportunity to play a key part in instilling the virtues and values that will permeate Weldon Village Academy for decades to come; to get it right from day one. We will only have Year 7 and Year 8 from September 2024 but will eventually grow to a school of 1500 students, including a 6th form of 300. We will run a vertical tutoring model, eventually with six houses, including a 6th form house. The ideal candidate should be motivated, flexible and an innovative and inspiring classroom teacher.The successful candidate will have an uncompromising commitment to student achievementwith a mind-set that all young people can experience success.
