WHAT YOU’LL DO:
The Travel House Ltd. is a fast-growing travel agency with focus on delivering value to our customers by ensuring exceptional customer service and reliable travel engagements at lowest cost possible. The Company is gearing up for rapid expansion and will look for additional avenues of growth via organic channels. We are looking for a Senior Travel Manager who will not only manage clients and other business customers, but also support the director with growth strategy and office management.
It is a varied role where the candidate will be mainly responsible for travel management with some elements of business planning, office co-ordination, and HR. The person in this role is accountable for ensuring that sales of the region grow at a significant pace.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
To take ownership of all aspects of corporate, leisure and VFR travel, including booking flights, accommodations, and ground transportation, and any other immigration requirements dependent on location.
Support the Director in managing the HR and general administrative activities.
Build the sales and revenue management strategy ex-UK into the USA and South Asia region.
Provide excellent customer service and manage a team in assisting with travel-related enquiries and issues in an efficient, proactive, and empathetic manner.
Manage emergency situations, such as flight cancellations or travel disruptions, effectively.
Monitor travel expenses and control the budget.
Ensure compliance with travel policies and regulations.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends to improve travel management processes.
Engage with Travel Consolidators for generating additional revenue streams.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors’ degree is a must. An MBA degree will be beneficial as the candidate is expected to wear multiple hats, but not required.
Prior experience of working as a business or corporate travel consultant, team assistant, booking fulfilment agent, operations manager, travel manager or travel agent.
Expert communication skills in English language are required; multilingualism is a plus.
Computer literacy including proficiency of MS Office package is essential.
GDS platform, hotel and airline ticketing system knowledge will be essential.
As the work scope includes some elements of administration and office expansion, experience in Office Management or HR related functions will be an added advantage.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle emergency situations.
At times, there could be a need to provide out of hours support and assistance including weekends and bank holidays.
Schedule: 5 days a week (40 hours per week)
Work Location: Harmondsworth (regular travel in and around Greater London)

Salary: £42,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
