The Role:
As our Senior Transport and Compliance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring all operations are not only efficient but also fully compliant with all regulatory requirements.
This position is ideally suited to a Supply Chain Director with a proven track record in transport operations and compliance oversight, looking to make a significant impact within a forward-thinking company.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement strategic transport and compliance frameworks that align with organisational goals.
* Oversee all aspects of transport operations, ensuring they meet the highest standards of efficiency and safety.
* Lead compliance with export regulations, mitigating risks and ensuring seamless international operations.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying and implementing best practices in transport and compliance.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure regulatory requirements are met and exceeded.
* Manage and mentor a high-performing team, driving excellence and accountability within the department.

Ideal Candidate:
* Extensive operational knowledge in transport, with a particular focus on compliance and export regulations.
* University degree (ideally within business or logistics).
* Previous experience as a Supply Chain Director or in a similar senior role dealing with freight forwarding within an international environment.
* CPC Licence is essential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Someone who has experience in Inco terms or international trade.
* A strategic thinker, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement
