The client is one of the largest independent Transport Planning Consultancies in the UK, who specialise in planning, infrastructure design and flood risk. They work on a diverse range of development projects and schemes, making representations for Local Plans, inform masterplans and support planning applications through Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and Environmental Statements.

Due to the constant growth in the business, the client is on the lookout for a talented Senior Transport Planner to join the Transport team based in Bristol!

The Position as a Senior Transport Planner

As a Senior Transport Planner, you will be involved in all streams of workflow, from the planning through to design and delivery. You will be expected to project manage a range of development scheme, liaise with clients, help team and company grow, and manage and train junior members of staff.

Essential Requirements of a Senior Transport Planner

• A degree in a related subject (MSc in Transport is desirable)
• Experience with preparing transport statements, Assessments, Travel Plans and Construction Traffic Management Plans and inputs to Environment Impact Assessments.
• Demonstrable consultancy experience especially in development.
• Use of TRICS database and AutoCAD.
• Proficient numeracy skills and the ability to interpret data.
