Access Talent Group are recruiting for a Transport Planning and Highways Design consultancy who specialise in development planning work across the UK. They provide advice throughout all stages of the development planning process from initial feasibility studies to successfully securing planning permission, the discharge of planning conditions and detailed highways design. They are looking to expand organically and bring in another Senior Transport Planner.The role:Manage projects for local authorities and private sector clients under the guidance of the Project DirectorStart taking a leading role within a defined technical areaManage time effectively, working with colleagues to deliver to scope and budgetDevelop and maintain strong relationships with clients, helping to secure new workProactively contribute to company growth through business development activitiesInspire and develop less-experienced members of staff by freely sharing your knowledgeTravel across the UK, and internationallyEssential:Exceptional transport planning technical skills and experience in areas of relevance to ITPA sound understanding of transport policy and current issues in the UK and/or internationallyKnowledge and skills to extract and analyse complex data sets to derive valuable insightsA growing network of industry contacts and positive client referralsExcellent inter-personal and communication skillsExcellent report-writing skills
