The Specialist Transport Team provide public transport, school transport and adult transport across the borough.The roleOur Specialist Transport Service is offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed person to join our Public Transport Team in the role of Senior Transport Officer.As a Senior Public Transport Officer, you will have an incredibly varied role. You will be working closely with colleagues in creating and delivering Public Transport services with the goal of maximising the use of sustainable transport services across the Borough and beyond. Other tasks will also include support the day-to-day management and operation of our Bus Interchange to ensure the efficiency of the facility from Bus Operators, Contractors and Bus Users.What's needed?The successful candidate will be a committed team player who is organised and dedicated to providing the highest standards of customer service. Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively and confidently with colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders is essential.
